The Eire Og Cycling Club will be holding the annual Mooney Trophy race on Saturday August 27th at 7.30pm at Ballast Quay , Sligo. The race will be run as a criterium and will consist of 50 minutes + 3 laps of racing, on a circuit covering Ballast Qauy and Finisklin Road.

Sign on opens at 6pm and closes at 6.45pm sharp. Visiting teams are restricted to category 3 and 4 riders. Sign on at Grays Cycles, Quay Street, Sligo.

This is the first time the Mooney Trophy has taken a criterium format and should be an exciting event. Some great riders have won this race in the past including former World Champion Mark Scanlon.
