Mayo Youth Tour Information Evening
Kiltimagh is to host a major international cycle race, the Mayo Youth Tour, from August 1st to 3rd, 2009.
This prestigious new road racing event is expected to attract teams from all over Ireland, Britain and possibly from the Continent.
An information evening will take place in the Park Hotel, Kiltimagh on Wednesday, May 13 at 9pm.
All local residents, business people, cyclists and organisations are very welcome to attend.
Members of the organising committee will be on hand to give full details of race routes, timings, etc and to answer any queries from the public. Light refreshments will be served.
All four stages of the race will take place in and around Kiltimagh, and competitors and officials will be staying in local hotels and B&Bs for the duration of the three-day event.
It is hoped that the Mayo Youth Tour will become an annual event on the Kiltimagh sporting calendar.
