Mayo gearing up for international Youth Tour
The 2010 Mayo Youth Tour is taking shape with strong interest being shown by teams from home and abroad. Last year’s overseas entries - Lotto Bodysol from Belgium and Royal London from the Isle of Man – are aiming to return, while newcomers RSG Frankfurt 1890 from Germany are planning to bring four riders. Competitors from Scotland and England are also expected to add to the international mix.
They can expect strong opposition from the home riders, judging by last year’s results which saw the Leinster and Ulster squads dominate the overall standings.
Entries are welcome from national, regional and club teams and from individuals between the ages of 10 and 16. .
Entry forms can be downloaded from www.Irishcycling.com or email Martin Ayres at: Mayres1@eircom.net Entries close on July 9.
