Mayo League, Round 2 results

The second round of the Mayo League was held on the Shra circuit on Sunday last, with a good turnout from the clubs in the region, 25 seniors and 22 underage signed on.

Shane Mulchrone Covey Wheelers was first in under 12 but not without a great challenge from David Brody Castlebar C.C.

Covey Wheelers Francis Sheridan had a good performance to win at under 14, from Christopher Kennedy Covey Wheelers.

Under 16, this age group were in with the main race and Jack Sheering Castlebar C.C finished first under 16 and 3rd overall, Diarmaid Hughes Covey Wheelers in second and 5 overall.

In the senior race Paul Kilcourse Castlebar C.C was again in the final shake up for the second round and is now the one to watch, with second place going to the first round winner Paul Fahy, Castlebar C.C.
