DCU Cycling Cyclocross Race

St Anne's Cyclocross Race hosted by DCU Cycling Club:*

*Date:* 14th December, Course open from 10:30am ish

The final round of the Super Cross Cup 2008 will take part in the scenic St Anne's park in Raheny. The Park, the second largest municipal park in Dublin, is part of a former 500 acre estate assembled by members of the Guinness family, beginning with Benjamin Lee Guinness in 1835. But on the 14th of December will see fast racing to sort out the final standings in the Super Cross Cup.

Will you fall foul to the surging Naniken River? Will you stop to visit the Herculanean Temple? Or, will you just visit the Duck Pond?

Bring your fastest tires, strip off all non essential parts, and warm up your running legs. You will not be disappointed. True too the spirit of cross, and adding a bit of Belgian flair, steps and run-ups are the name of the day with fast linking stages in-between. This course will make you suffer. But sure that's what cross is all about.....isn't it?
