Basic Awareness Workshop

These courses will be hosted by Cycling Ireland for its members only. It is of the utmost importance that any persons looking after Youth or Vulnerable adults should attend one of these courses. Going forward for 2012 it will be mandatory that every club with a Youth section should have a designated Child Protection Officer and to this end we are hosting our own course to make it easier for our members to have access to these courses.

The Code of Ethics is for the benefit and protection of anyone involved in Children’s sport, from parents or guardians to sports leaders or coaches. The course will last for 4 hours and will be informal, informative and enjoyable.
