I hope by now you have heard of our fantastic event which will run on the 17th & 18th of Feb next year. If you have then you will know that the prizes are absolutely fantastic for an indoor cycling event, with €10'000 for 1st place, €5'000 for 2nd and €1'000 for 3rd plus various other prizes for various categories on the day. As this is the 1st event of its type seen in Ireland we envisage we will have somewhere between 20-25 teams competing but we have space for up to 32. We also have a great, fun filled, family orientated festival organised to run around the event to generate a great atmosphere and to make it as much fun as possible for everyone. With face painting, magic shows, fireworks displays and kids discos for the younger ages and bar exemptions, discos and numerous special offers for the adults its shaping up to be a real carnival. The local B&B's are also running a discounted rate of €25 pps for the weekend with all the local businesses offering special offers as well. With the event using the cutting edge wattbike technology we will have real time leader boards and super accurate distance readings to guarantee a top class event.
So, we just wanted to remind teams that are interested in competing that the closing date for receipt of entry is 1st January 2012 with a closing date of 16th January for return of completed sponsorship packs.
